Morse Ready Mix Driver (Plainville, MA)
MORSE READY MIX DRIVERS (PLAINVILLE, MA): We are seeking safety minded individuals for concrete mixer drivers. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:
-
Candidates must comply with all DOT regulations and adhere to all Morse Ready Mix policies and procedures.
-
Delivery of ready mix concrete to customer job sites.
-
Operate equipment and transport material under extreme temperatures, have the knowledge and the ability to operate and drive ready mix vehicle.
-
Individuals must display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers and the public.
-
Responsible for pre and post trip inspections. Report any deficiencies promptly to supervisor.
-
Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) Policy and maintain individual PPE in functional condition.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must follow directions, have the ability to work independently, and must hold a valid CDL-A or CDL-B license. The willingness to work long hours and travel throughout Massachusetts is required. Candidate must be flexible with last minute schedule, location and time of shift changes.

Mechanic
Mechanic (Berwick, ME): We are seeking a qualified, detail oriented, highly organized individual to perform necessary fleet maintenance repairs. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

Perform necessary fleet maintenance, repairs and upkeep of heavy duty equipment.
-
Replaces and adjust headlights, installs and repairs accessories such as heaters, mirrors and windshield wipers.

Drains fluids and oil, ensuring proper procedures for containment and/or disposal.
-
Repairs or replaces parts such as drums, buckets, hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, pistons, rods, gears, etc.
-
Utilize a preventive maintenance program to include emergency response when needed.
-
Ability to repair projects through successful completion.
-
Drives mechanics truck to various job sites and repair equipment when necessary.
-
Adhere to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations as set forth by the US Department of Transportation.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should have one to two years prior experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment and be able to work hours needed and/or on weekends. Candidate must be able to multitask; make good decisions when problems arise and be detail oriented. The selected individual must display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers and the public. A valid CDL A or B driver’s license and the willingness to travel are essential for this position. This is a year round, full time position.

Plant Repairman
Plant Repairman: We are seeking a qualified, detail oriented, highly organized individual to perform necessary maintenance, repairs and upkeep of the plants.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions.

Perform necessary maintenance, repairs and upkeep of the plants.
-
Perform welding and fabrication duties as required.
-
Repairs or replaces parts such as drums, seals, buckets, hydraulic pumps, electric motors, valves, pistons, rods, gears, etc.
-
Conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate design proposal for improving equipment performance.
-
Ability to troubleshoot various concrete plants, electrical components, plant parts, boiler and conveyors.
-
Ability to guide repair projects through successful completion.
-
Maintain and implement an effective concrete plant parts program.
-
Implement and utilize a preventive maintenance program to include emergency response when needed.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates should have two to three years prior experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment and be able to work hours needed and/or on weekends. Candidate must be able to multitask; make good decisions when problems arise and be detail oriented. The selected individual must display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers and the public. A valid driver’s license and the willingness to travel are essential for this position. This is a year round, full time position.
