Current positions available:

Batcher

Batcher – (NH)We are seeking a qualified, detail oriented, highly organized individual with strong computer skills with knowledge of current operating systems to operate and maintain the concrete batch plant at our Manchester facility. 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Monitor computerized batch control equipment. 
  • Perform gradations and moistures on sand and stone material and maintain records.
  • Monitor stockpiles so the individual piles are free from contamination.
  • Communicate any aggregate material changes to QC and Operations Manager & complete daily log for dispatch.
  • Perform housekeeping, environmental and quality control duties at facility & perform weekly safety huddles.
  • Complete inspections and preventative maintenance of plant equipment (oil, greasing, etc.)

Qualifications:   Qualified candidates musthave basic math skills to understand batch materials; such as cement, water, aggregates and admixtures and the proportions (weights) of mixes being batched. The candidate must also have a basic understanding of concrete properties.  This individual must have excellent customer service, phone and communication skills; the ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment; the ability to multitask and make good decisions when problems arise.   Candidate must hold a valid CDL-A or CDL-B license.

Loader Operator

Loader Operator (NH):  We are seeking a qualified, detailed oriented individual to assist the Batcher/Batch Plant operator with daily production duties by operating a front-end loader and performing other miscellaneous plant related functions.  Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Ability to operate front-end loader accurately, efficiently while maintaining continuous feed of material flowing to plant.
  • Clean up around plant and surrounding area.
  • Lubricate and perform general maintenance on the loader machine.
  • Must be willing to drive Redimix truck and deliver concrete to customer job sites in a safe and efficient manner as needed.
  • Candidates must adhere to all Redimix policies and procedures.

Individuals must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations, using some combination of skills and abilities. Concrete Pump Operator

CONCRETE PUMP OPERATOR (NH):  We are seeking a safety minded individual for concrete pump operator.  Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

Requirements:

  • Candidates must comply with all DOT regulations and adhere to all Redimix policies and procedures.
  • Ability to efficiently operate concrete pump truck; set up system and clean out pump after the job.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of concrete construction. 
  • Candidate must be able to lift and handle concrete pipes and hoses; assist contractors in assembling lines and hoses for best utilization for the job.
  • Individuals must display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers and the public; must possess strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to make minor mechanical repairs to concrete pump as needed.              
  • Responsible for pre and post trip inspections.  Know pump well enough to recognize problems and report to supervisor.
  • Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) Policy and maintain individual PPE in functional condition. 

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate must follow directions, have the ability to work independently, and must hold a valid CDL-A or CDL-B license with air brake endorsement. 
  • The willingness to work long hours and travel throughout New Hampshire is required.
  • Candidate must be flexible with last minute schedule, location and time of shift changes.

Quality Control Technician

QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIANS:  We are seeking a qualified, detail oriented, highly organized individual to perform quality control functions statewide.  Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

 Requirements:

  • Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in process materials, raw materials, finish goods and stability samples. 
  • Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data release.
  • Investigate or report questionable results; identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
  • Compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses. Participate in out-of specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Review data from contract laboratories to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods or protocols.
  • Candidate must adhere to all Redimix policies and procedures.
  • Individuals must display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers and the public.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, familiar with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment. Candidate must be able to multitask; make good decisions when problems arise.
  • Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, the general public, and regulatory authorities at all times.
  • A valid driver’s license and the willingness to travel throughout the state are essential for this position.
