Ready Mix Driver (Plainville, MA)

We are seeking out qualified candidates for Concrete Mixer Drivers. Valid Class A or B CDL license with air brakes endorsement required. Hydraulics license is a plus. No experience necessary. Morse Ready Mix offers a fantastic full benefits package.

Job Summary - Responsible for the loading and delivery of ready mix concrete and other associated products to construction job sites in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities-

  • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the ready mix truck used for delivery of products.
  • Perform Post/Pre Trip inspections daily.
  • Complete all required paperwork daily.
  • Maintain contact with dispatch/supervisor to receive and transmit delivery instructions.
  • Check loads to ensure product is being hauled in appropriate and safe manner.
  • Extensive working relationships with customers both external and internal.
  • Assist other company employees as needed.
  • Participate in general plant/yard cleanliness and maintenance as directed by supervisor.
  • Cooperate and promote team concept with all employees and all Morse customers.
  • Maintain concrete mixer is always in acceptable cleanliness both inside and outside from top to bottom.

Ready Mix Driver (Bow, NH 03304)

We are seeking qualified, detailed oriented, safety minded individuals for concrete mixer drivers in the Bow area. Classification: Year round hourly.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Candidates must comply with all DOT regulations and adhere to all Redimix policies and procedures.
  • Delivery of ready mix concrete to customer job sites.
  • Operate equipment and transport material under extreme temperatures, have the knowledge and the ability to operate and drive ready mix vehicle.
  • Individuals must display a courteous and professional attitude when dealing with co-workers and the public.
  • Responsible for pre and post trip inspections. Report any deficiencies promptly to supervisor.
  • Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) Policy and maintain individual PPE in functional condition.
  • A valid CDL-A or CDL-B license with air brake endorsement and the willingness to travel to other Redimix locations are essential for this position.

Salesperson (Manchester, NH)

This is a challenging position responsible for sales of ready-mixed concrete. The Salesperson is responsible for maintaining high quality communications between our existing customer base, future customers, the operating departments and the Sales Manager. The Salesperson will train with the Sales Manager as well as other Senior Sales Representatives to gain knowledge of the ready mix business.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

The criterion for evaluation in this position includes but is not limited to the following:

Marketing

  • Strong commitment to developing and strengthening relationships with all customers.
  • Sales and marketing of all products, including concrete, to municipalities, commercial businesses and large residential projects.
  • Follow up on all sales/quotes and collection procedures, when necessary.
  • Accurate pricing of products based on given cost factors.
  • Keeping fully abreast of the current market conditions and the activities of competitors.
  • Accurate and timely preparation of various paperwork, including estimate sheets, contracts, credit approval, billing reports, etc.

Operations

  • Develop close team oriented, working relationship with customer service personnel.
  • Daily coordination with Sales Manager to insure maximum utilization of trucks, equipment and people.
  • Develop an understanding of concrete business culture such as dispatching of concrete, plant functions, and materials utilized in making concrete.

Other Requirements

  • Must be committed to providing and promoting a safe, no harm work culture.
  • Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
  • Must have an outgoing personality and be at ease interacting with clients.
  • Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required.
  • Must be adept at making “cold calls”.
  • Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.

Quality Control Technician (Plainville, MA) Ready for an exciting position in the fast paced high reward career of construction? The selected candidate must be familiar with testing and evaluation of ready-mixed concrete and will be responsible for field and laboratory evaluations in accordance with current testing criteria.
